This recruitment platform (careers.vaniercollege.qc.ca) operates on DigitalRecruiters, a system published by the company CEGID, to facilitate external and internal employee recruitment. CEGID is based in France, meaning your information will also be hosted there. Vanier College has ensured CEGID’s privacy terms and conditions satisfy the requirements of the Act respecting access to documents held by public bodies and the protection of personal information.  

As a subcontractor of Vanier College, CEGID is authorized to access the information about you recorded on this platform when necessary, particularly for administration and maintenance of the system. However, CEGID may not communicate this information outside its company at any time.

Security measures are required of CEGID to ensure a level of protection equivalent to that required under the laws of Québec applicable to the protection of personal information.

Unless you provide consent or unless permitted or required by law, Vanier College will not share your personal information with third parties beyond those mentioned in this policy.

Retention of Personal Information

All personal information provided on this recruitment platform is retained for a maximum of 36 months from the date of consent to its collection. This retention period allows Vanier College to maintain a pool of potential candidates essential for optimizing recruitment.

If your application is successful, the necessary information will be migrated to your employee file. If your application is not selected, all information, including personal details collected during the hiring process, will be retained in our internal system for one year before being destroyed or anonymized, following the College’s retention schedule.

Consent to Data Collection and Processing
